LifeStraw Flex is a two-stage water filter which should be an essential in any outdoor explorer’s daypack. This filter exceeds the NSF 53 drinking water standard for reduction of lead, plus it reduces chemicals, removes bacteria and parasites making it a seriously smart investment. The Flex can be used in five different ways; as a personal straw, with the included soft touch bottle, attached to a plastic water bottle, hydration balder or as a gravity filter.

The science stuff? The two-stage filtration uses advanced hollow fibre membrane technology to remover waterborne bacteria and protozoa for up to 2,000 litres. The replaceable activated carbon capsule reduces heavy metals.
